Excellent Restaurant – The Monro. Me and my wife sampled the super Christmas menu Saturday 18th December and found it totally spot on.My wife chose mushroom risotto followed by the turkey meal with goose fat roasted potatoes (mouth watering) and all the trimmings then baileys cheesecake – Washed down with a nice bottle of merlot.I chose the home made chicken liver pate with crusty bread with side of caramelised onions, main meal was fall off the bone lamb (beautifully cooked) with chive mash followed by baileys cheesecake – Every bit was delightful, could not fault a thing, we highly recommend this fine restaurant for a lovely cosy atmosphere, if you can get a seat there before the Christmas menu goes off the board you will not be disappointed! Don’t miss out if you can.Staff are fabulous, place is cosy, warm and perfect for a total delightful meal.I shall be returning asap….Thanks to all there, see you soonSteve
Proabaly the best food in Liverpool….??. Been several times now and NEVER disappointed. Atmosphere is great and the service good and the food exceptional. If ever we want a meal out in town that we know will be top drawer, it’s always the first place we cal!
GREAT VENUE, AMAZING FOOD. A meal at The Monro in Liverpool is an essential part of any visit to the city centre. The subtle blend of gentleman’s pub mixed with modern, exquisite food creates a unique experience I have yet to come across anywhere else in the city centre. The delicious menu offers a wide range of fish, meat and vegetarian dishes with an extensive wine list and numerous guest and world beers available.It is fair to say the experience of dining at The Monro was enjoyed by myself and my family immensely! The food, as always, was delicious and the staff were helpful and polite!A great night with great food and great company. Thank you.
Relaxing evening and delicious food. We went for a lovely meal at the Munro last week. It was absolutely delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The steak was especially nice and we enjoyed the whole atmosphere with the open fires and cool, relaxed setting. We would definately recommend it for a fantastic evening and will be going back shortly!
Pure quality. Reasonable priced food with quality stamped all over it. The staff very welcoming and made our evening out very enjoyable. I would recommend this place to anyone and have already advised my friends to give it a try. Munro . . . . . . . I’ll be back.
Brilliant Roast. We visited The Monro last Sunday for a late lunch and were tremendously impressed by the whole experience. The food was fantastic (Ham Hock terrine starter and Roast Beef main being particular highlights). There was a real buzz about the restaurant and the staff were attentive and helpful. Both the food and wine were exceptional value (11.95 for two courses and a bottle of lovely Malbec for 14). Not to be missed,
