Cheap and cheerful!
Lovely food, great staff.. I ate at the olive press on Saturday in a party of 21 people for my birthday. We had to pre order which was hard work but the food was quality and good value for money. The staff are extremely friendly and even accommodated extra people that we hadn’t booked for. At the end they brought out a dessert with ice cream, chocolate and a candle and sang happy birthday! great night was had by all and will defo return soon!
Great Evening. Dined here on Sunday with the family, great offer of two courses for 12.00. All of us had a really great time and it is very good value for money. I was particularly impressed with how family friendly the restaurant is and the great children’s menu not your usual nuggets and chips! My little boy loved making his own pizza. I would definately recommend this restaurant and will be trying again when we are next in Liverpool!!
Went today, had the buttermilk fried chicken wings to start, first order had to be sent back as ther was blood when they were cut into, waitress was very apologetic, when the replacements arrived no blood, just burnt and swimming in grease. Mains I had carbonara, aparantly the olive press don’t do carbonara like everyone else in the world using egg Thers is pasta swimming in luke warm cream, edible just don’t call it carbonara, it isn’t. My partner had rustic pizza, looked lovely untill it was cut then realised the dough was only part cooked. Very very dissapointing. Paul heatcote maybe needs to turn up once in a while and taste what his restaurant is serving up, save your money and cook it yourself, it’ll taste better and save the embarassment of sending food back.

This is a calm and good value restaurant. Always gives good value for money
