Terrible experience – rude rude rude. I went for some lunch at Oki-Nami with my boyfriend and we hated it. We were treated so badly by the waitress that I left the restaurant feeling quite shaken up! We ordered the items we wanted off the menu. They started to come out as they were ready, although no miso soup at all. We chased politely three times for the soup. Finally it came once we had finished all of the other dishes. At the end of the experience (after we had paid the bill mind you) the waitress told me that I did not have to be so rude to her and that asking three times for my miso soup was unnecessary!!! Can you believe this? I was the customer who had to chase some miso soup three times and she asked me not to be rude? What a cheek. I would never go back here and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to Oki-Nami.

Best Sushi in Brighton. I love Oki-Nami. I consider myself a bit of a sushi connoisseur and the fish is so fresh here it is practically swimming. But the best dish is the sizzling beef Gyu Wafu Teri – really delicious. Staff are really nice, you get cool little Origami with your chopsticks and they do a really mean cocktail. Highly recommended.
