Bombay Great!. Went here last week with the family for my birthday. I usually have my take away from here once a week. We don’t have the chance to sit in much as a family. We were greeted with a very warm welcome, All the staff were attentive, and the waiter who served us seemed to have an extensive knowledge of their menu, and was very helpful in helping us pick our meals. he ordered me something which was not on the menu as he said i should try something different to my usual chicken jalfrezi which i love! the Naga chicken was a great alternative. i love the atmosphere in Bombay once you get to know the staff you realise this family run restaurant is a gem! the same family have been here for over 30years! My birthday venue didn’t disappoint, I recommend all my clients to this place, Thanks Bombay will see you again soon! Its easy for people to be negative but if everyone that enjoyed their experience here made a comment then you would probably need a separate blog page. This really is a part of leamington’s heart and history.. keep it up guys!
Not enjoyable. Thursday evening, half empty, several staff rather tired/reserved. Not a warm wecome. Food OK – a bit bland. Modern decor rather soulless. Problem with their card payment machine was not well handled and we left with no intention of returning after paying cash. The one next door looked much nicer as we walked past!
Best Indian in Leamington. We have been having take away, but hadn’t eaten in at Bombay for the past 2 years since the birth of our daughter and finally felt brave enough to try and evening out. Greeted like old friends on arrival they had no problems with accommodating our daughter and her pushchair. Ordered samosa’s for our daughter as a main and Dal Channa Makani and Vegetable Jalfrezi, the food as ever was wonderful and the staff friendly and accommodating, not minding the mess created. Probably the best Indian in Leamington, and we have tried them all.
An Institue of Leamington Spa!. A great place to eat for people who love traditional indian food. First went to this restaurant in the early 80’s with my parents back then there was only this place and another one down the road. Now there is over a good 15 indian restaurants in the town which are opening and closing all the time, this just shows how established the Bombay has become im sure it is going through its third recession of the country since its been opened. It was also the place to be after a night out due to its late license.Couple of my friends met their future wives in this place. Staff are friendly and always welcoming and the food is still the same.Bombay is known for pioneering the Tandoori style cooking along with with its Karai dishes. For the past 30 years Bombay has provided a wonderful service to the town of Leamington Spa and i hope it will continue to do for the next however long it’ll go for so i could take my young ones down there when their ready for their first indian meal.
Awful. Have just returned from the single worst Indian cuisine experience I have ever experienced. Bland regurgitated mess. Truly awful. I sincerely doubt the sauce bases were cooked on site or possibly even today. Sue me.
One of the Best in Leamington.. Unfortunately Leamington Spa has quite a few Indian Restaurants but none meet the quality and authenticity one can expect from some of the finer restaurants in Cities like London or Birmingham.Recently refurbished with a nice modern decor this is most probably the best in town, the staff are friendly and welcoming and one can get a decent Bangladeshi meal here.
