The Jug and Jester is a JD Wetherspoon freehouse opened in November 2010. Some of the pub occupies Leamington's first theatre, first opened in 1813. In recent times the building has been a pub, first as the Spirit Vaults, then as the Chair and Rocket (locally the Monkey house!) and finally as the Jug and Jester in 1996. We have a lovely, secluded beer garden to the rear for the sunny days (when they appear!) and open fires to keep you warm in the winter. We come recommended in the Good Beer Guide for our ales and we have a regular changing selection both from the local area and beyond.
