One of the better chippy’s around (not too greasy) but very popular meaning slow service. They do not take card paymetns either which in 2018 is astounding and means having to wander off to find a cash machine.

We used Avenue Road chippy again today for the second time tosay. Big portions, friendly service and delicious food! Nice fresh salad is placed in the burgers and the pricing is about average.
Tonight we went to sandown for our tea the fish was cooked perfect the batter scrummy chips were nice. It was really big portions, it was well worth the wait. Will defo recommend also bring the family when they come to visit.
