This place looks inviting from the outside so we tested it for dinner when we moved to the area. Just to realize it’s more of a party place rather than a proper restaurant judging by their food. Food is clearly secondary for them, poor quality, massive portions, overcooked pasta, and so on. We were a larger group and everyone’s dish was in best case mediocre. Service is ok, but slow. Later in the evening they turn he music on loud so the restaurant turns in to a club. If I was to go there again it would be for drinks at the bar, but certainly not for a meal. sweervywine.com
Amazing Steak. I had dinner here on a Thursday night and found the wait staff to be very attentive and the service fast. I quite enjoyed the calamari and cannot say enough about the steak. I left exceptionally full and very satisfied.
Wouldn’t honour a voucher. Having been given a Groupon voucher for Mare Moto, tried several times to call to reserve but always got answerphone promise to call right back. Nobody ever did. Finally visited and was told no dinner reservations available before expiry date on voucher, so agreed to lunch instead, and reserved, onlt to have a curt phone call half an hour later to say that they were cancelling my reservation because they couldn’t cope with so many vouchers. Disgusted.
Fantastic!. When they say that MareMoto’s the best well hidden secret of Chelsea area they are so correct! The restaurant is a high level type, great food, friendly staff and if you are lucky enough to get a table on weekends, you should try their nightclub downstairs …
Had a great night fantastic food great wine very freindly staff. The club downstairs is a must sit and chat or dance till you drop choice is yours. Overall a good night bright & clean. A+++++
