We will never go back annymore. It used to be very good before…had been there for every family event.they have start to cheat on portion of the food and you dont get even half of what u pay on the set weekend meny.if you are a big group is more likely they will overcharge.if you leave deposit for booking be careful because they tend to forget to take it off from the final bill..they do apologise later.thats not the right way to run a bussines….hopefuly they do realise it….
Not as good as before.. Visited this restaurant for the fourth time a few days ago and regrettably found the quality had slipped and the prices higher with smaller portions. In the main the staff were helpful except for the Egyptian head-waiter who very persistently kept pushing the most expensive items on the menu and on the wine list, until I had to firmly but politely asked him to stop, and to top it all they overcharged us, although I do not think this was intentional, and the bill was adjusted with apologies.29 Mar, 2012Superb Syrian Restaurant in Chelsea. Excellent restaurant serving generous portions of superb authentic Syrian food in elegant surroundings, definitely a cut above the usual Lebanese fare. Friendly and happy staff couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommended.
Got a groupon deal for meze & drinks for 4 people, the dish sizes weren’t even the size of a starter. Ended up ordering a main dish, which was extortionately priced based on the size of the meal. Service was awful, slow, not friendly at all. And to top it all off, they tried to scam charge us for the whole meal even though the meze & drinks had been paid for as part of the groupon deal.Next door is their ‘takeaway’ service, coming from the same kitchen, serving the same food & portion sizes, for a fraction of the price.Will never go back to this awful place, and would not recommend to anyone.
Worst delivery service ever. I thought instead of going out to eat on a cold friday night the date being the 1st march 2013, me and my girlfriend decided to order in some food. Having placed the order at 8.20pm i was advised that i would have my order delivered in 45 mins as i am only located 10 mins away. 45 mins past then an hour so i called them and was advised the driver had left 5 mins ago, 20 mins later still no driver so i called up to find out what was happening where i was advised the driver was 5 mins away. 15 mins later still no arrival, so i called back up and spoke to the manager who said he would look in to this and call me back. 5 mins later the manager calls back offering his sincere apologies and offers a 25% discount so i said ok and he confirms the driver is 5 mins away. 20 mins later the driver turns up and i pay my bill and we part ways. Now this is not the end as not only was the food stone cold they had got our order wrong. Shrugging our shoulders in despair due to hunger kicking in we reluctantly had to heat our cold .5 thumbs up for worst service ever.
A wonderfull place i enjoyed every minute. I went to Yamal Elsham a Week go i had an amazing evening the food was so fresh and the atmoosphere was amazing i recomand it tro everyone we saw the belly dancer as well i will comeback for sure .
One to none food and service. My friend invited me to visit yamal el sham for dinner. i was surprized by the place i would describe it as luxurios restaurant. it was my birthday. the food was lovely.the sevice was excellent 100% satisfaction we been looked after by not sure hamby he is an egyption guy he was great he sang happy birthday and he looked after us very well big thank you to him. the price was not expencive. for sure i will be back as i felt we are the one in the restaurant.
Yamal alsham lebanese restaurant in chelsea great place to be they do live music and belly dancer during the weekend. we had a shisha outside. highly recomended will be back soon or we will order free home delivery.
