Not a great pub. I have read some great reviews of The Hand and Crown and was sorely disappointed with a recent visit. The portions are large but you pay through the nose for them. The staff don’t seem to appreciate your custom either, I would rather spend my well earned money somewhere else. We won’t be paying them a repeat visit anytime soon!08 Aug, 2012Don’t know the meaning of good custmer service. The manager is the rudest man I have ever had the displeasure to meet and his team follow his example well. I think someone should remind them that they are in the hospitality industry!!Tip: there are plenty of great pubs within a stones throw of this overpriced pub, search them out and don’t waste your money at The Hand and Crown.
