This is a friendly pub with excellent food. The Sundy lunch is very good but its wise to book, as it gets very busy. The pub has a large and pretty garden with seating and parasols which is lovely in summer. Well worth a visit.
We have visited several times in the past few weekends. Last Friday there was a band playing and the pub was packed and had a great atmosphere. I have visited Sunday lunchtime and everybody that works there are friendly and helps create enjoyable visits.
Lovely pub with great outdoor space including a secret garden, ample parking and plenty of space inside. A bright and airy place that serves good traditional food and a nice range of beverages. Definitely worth a visit, particularly for Sunday lunch!
I went there with five friends for lunch recently and we sat outside in the ‘Secret Garden’. The young man who served us was extremely polite and helpful and the food was delicious.
