Normally good food but patchy delivery. Bombay Munch has been my go-to takeaway Indian restaurant since I moved into the area 2 years ago. I’m really fussy about Indian food as where I’m from the local places are outstanding. The food at Bombay Munch is just as good, which is rare. However, the last few times the delivery has been pretty chaotic, with waiting times of 1h30, and items missed off the orders, which is frustrating when you’ve just waited that long for your dinner. They offered to deliver the missing items later, but that’s not much use another 1h30 after the rest of the meal. The standard of the food was also not up to its normal good level the last time I ordered from there.Overall I’d recommend this place if they’re not busy, otherwise I’d say avoid it.

The name Bombay Munch doesn’t inspire the thought of having a top quality curry, but the food speaks for itself. Value for money is great here, you can get way too much food for 10 a head. Personal favourites are the Saag Paneer like the other reviewer and the Lamb Tikka Biryani.

Easy to miss, hard to forget!Yes it only does takeaways but the food really is the great! Better than any of the places down Brick Lane for sure.I first tried Bombay Munch a little hungover on a Sunday just after moving to the area. I had tried one place before locally which had been terrible and I must say I didn’t expect it to be very good as the prices were so low. The food arrived promptly with a friendly delivery man who didn’t look like his life depended on a tip. The portions were so large that I couldn’t finish it all, since then I have always known if I order I will always have a very exciting lunch or dinner for the next day as well!In terms of what to order, you really can’t go wrong. For the mild lovers go for the Chicken Pasanda, Chicken Makihani or Dakeswari or Tikka Masala. Those who like it hot try the Lahore Chilli Chicken Masala.I also always get the Sag Panner side dish which is lush. The bargain that is the set meal (12.80) for 1 will actually feed 2, which consists ofTandori Mixed grill starterChicken or Lamb Tikka MasalaChana Masala (only complaint here is this is literally just chick peas and little else.)Pilau RiceKeema NaanLink to the websitehttp://www.bombaymunch.co.uk/Oh and don’t be put of by the name! The place is good quality food for excellent rates.I love Bombay Munch!

AMAZING. Literally the best Indian takeaway I’ve ever had. I had the Karahi Chilli Paneer and it was divine. Really spicy, but divine. The Vegetable Samosas were also the finest I’ve ever had… really herby. I can’t wait to try more dishes!

AWFUL EXPERIENCE. The food took 2 hours 10 minutes to arrive. When it finally arrived, I received CHICKEN (I have been vegetarian for 12 years) and spent 30 minutes trying to ring them back to get it changed, eventually giving up because I rang 10 times and the line was constantly engaged. NEVER order from them.

Best Curry House in Dalston. Fantastic little place. Has an imaginative original menu, and they deliver quite fast too. Hidden gem in Dalston, especially as Indian takeaways are quite thin on the ground round here. Gets 5 stars because it’s about the same price as your average Indian, but the food is that much better.

Our regular. The best indian takeaway in the area, no doubt about it!
