The best Turkish restaurant in Hackney, possibly London. The menu is filled with delicious grilled meat from the open cole grill, but even my vegetarian friends love it. It’s bring your own booze, so you can save some quids that you might want to spend on some thick and tasty Turkish coffee and desert.

I am hungry just thinking about this place! There is a reason Gilbert and George go here every night. Its mind blowingly good. I can’t emphasise that enough. The salads are all lively with lemon and red onions. The grill is outstanding. The meat is tender and juicy. Its worth seeing whats on special or asking the waiter for their advice. I am always a fan of just ordering lots of plates and sharing here. Make sure you go with lots of room in your belly!
