The front of the restaurant is a semi-converted pie and mash shop and has a distinctly English feel, they’ve retained the bar and seating. Most of the seating is in the back however, which is a pleasantly decorated standard Chinese restaurant atmosphere. Acoustics are good, you won’t have to shout to make yourself heard.The dim sum is excellent, the rolls less so. Reasonably priced.

Thieves and liars. These people are thieves, I bought a simple seafood fried rice wrapped in lotus leaf and duck and crispy pork. This would have costed no more than 15, I didn’t realise that they had over charged me and made me pay 23.50… I went to complain and get my money back but they kept accusing me of getting the platter! I gave the manager the receipt and everything! Horrible people, horrible service, horrible customer care…
It’s an old pie and mash shop, so they have kept the tiles and wooden bench decor at the front, which I like keeps to the origins of the building!! You xhow can go through to the resturant if you want
Lizzie. I think this place has gone right downhill. Prices have shot up, staff are indifferent, my starter spring rolls were colld in the middle and they have added the dreaded service charge to the bill. Will be heading down to the Vietnamese in Shoreditch instead
