  ‘Oh the Zarka’s, know’s your name, with its burning, tikka kebab flame… and the mayo, falling like the rain… oh the Zarka’s, know’s your name…’ I know what some of you maybe thinking. What’s going on? Relevance? Some may even take offence! Far from it, this song – originally ‘The River’, by John Hiatt – experienced a word change because of my (and my friends love) for Zarka’s!Located in Shelton with a wonderfully enticing palm tree Logo, Zarka’s deliver a wonderfully marinated chicken kebab – on Pitta or Nan bread, complete with salad, white onions and a choice of sauce – in either small or large. The bread is always delicious, the chicken supremely tasty and it always fills that food shaped hole that you need to fill.Be very careful to only take on a large if you are on an empty stomach – and as a side note, you can ask for grated cheese as a talented extra, if you so desire. Additionally, you can opt to have non-marinated chicken if you wish. It gets better – Zarka’s value their customers, with a photo montage in their kitchen of satisfied customers. With the sort of length the Great Wall of China would be proud of, its no wonder, as the service and the freshness is second to none. There’s even televisions to watch while you are waiting, and a good selection of drinks. The staff are friendly and you will find it hard not to return again and again. Bravo!
