Kiln is a bit of a project, we are a hard working bunch that has set up a cafe so that you can come and visit our ceramics studio. What we do is tableware for some of the best restaurants in the country, including locally Peace & Loaf, and House of Tides. We pride ourselves on our ceramics. We've set up small cafe & bar with a shoebox sized kitchen. We do simple food, with a group of guys with no commercial experience who just love to cook. We built everything you see, its a real family affair! The welding, joinery, design & idea is all us and there are plenty of rough edges. We hope to give you a really honest experience, its no frills but a big heart. Our staff are all chosen on their character and a lot are new to the industry. We believe that making mistakes is part of being human, so we have warm welcoming staff who will always have time for you and thoroughly enjoy developing a friendship. If you want an honest experience then we are the right place!
