There’s something about the place that makes you want to walk right in. It’s a combination of cozy, rustic and easy. We were on our way to the Old Street Underground, with plans to just get home and retire in front of the TV. But Canvas Bar caught our attention and we walked right into an evening of amazing cocktails and fun!Talking of cocktails, they are the reason for my high rating for this place. Tried the Gooseberry Blossom and It’s East Darling for the elderflower and Sugar Daddy – perfecto! The names are as interesting as the presentation and taste. It’s always a big turn on when there are quirky glasses that do justice to a drink.Saw the bartenders at work and they are thorough artists! I have done masterclasses before but would want to try their cocktail masterclass; though it looks like they do it only for big groups.Must try if you are in the Shoreditch area. currycular.wordpress.com
