Large club close to Shoreditch. The last stop on a night out. Strangely I find the majority of bars and pubs close really early in London. For such a large city everything seems to start closing around 1 or 2 am. Late one Thursday night when everywhere else wants to kick you out but you are not quite ready for home, perhaps you should pop into the Aquarium. This place was unbeknownst to us until a lovely promotional girl handing out free wrist bands talked us into heading down there. What a great idea we thought as it was far too early for home even with work at 9am looming closer and closer. Inside on this particular evening it wasn’t very busy and as it was quite a large space it looked a little awkward. However we headed to the bar where there were girls standing with tool belt looking things on them, or which they dispensed jager bombs. How ingenious. And a very efficient way to sell alcohol on busy nights i guess. The real selling point is apparently the swimming pool which we managed to stumble accros. We could not believe that for 1 pound you could swim and were provided with towels in this lovely seedy looking underground pool complete with hot tub. The pools were empty at this particular point but I can only imagine what it would be like on a busy night. Fortunately sense prevailed and we did not end up doing a few laps and headed home nice and dry. Unsure how to grade this place, would probably be a lot of fun if it was busy, and you were a bit more intoxicated. Not really my scene though.

The club boasts to be the only club with a swimming pool, so if you feel the need to take a break from drinking and dancing you can go and take a dip! There are also great promotional deals on entry and drinks
