The fish here was really good. All of it is purportedly fresh, not frozen. I had the haddock and my companion had the plaice. There was quite a long wait for the plaice, which I take to be a good sign. I guess it is not ordered frequently, so had to be made up and breaded especially from scratch. My haddock was good and a generous portion, but not as lovely as the delicate plaice. Next time I will stick to the less frequently ordered fish such as plaice, skate, or rock salmon.We were less impressed by the chips, which were cut thick but not crisp. The portion was huge though.They do a half price deal on the first of the month, all day.
