I visited with a group of friends for the Duck and Champagne menu, which comprises four course and half a bottle of champagne. A grey Saturday afternoon in the part of the city means it’s a bit of a ghost town, but once inside the feeling of the restaurant was very relaxed and friendly. The staff were great and efficient, all four courses were delicious and half a bottle of champagne is the perfect amount. The Duck was fantastic but a bit limited, apparently one duck between two people but only the best cuts are served.
Officially my first time dining in a fine restaurant during Chinese New Year. Our meal was the tasting menu with wine pairing. Most dishes were quite interesting since it leads us back to the journeys of different Chinese dynasties. Still, to cater western preferences, there are some western dishes e.g. The green apple dessert so the meal became a fusion.
