I’ve eaten here twice and both times were a feast. The Ham Hock sandwich is mouthwatering and tension is building up when as it’s cooked right in front of your eyes. It’s a nice addition to the Deli’s around Shoreditch with a strong focus on meaty sandwiches. And it’s definitely worth the wait (It can get quite busy around lunchtime). The price is quite outstanding, too, but worth every penny. Definitely my choice for the special weekly treat.

Had the breakfast bagel here today. Very nice bagel. Ham hock, egg and cheese. It was delicious, large and for only 4, great value for money. Would definitely come again and recommend to friends.

I’ve been to this Deli few time since it opened about a week or so ago. Deli has that warm welcoming feeling with elegant interior that guarantees to wow.. On the day of opening, I tried (my now favorite!!) Veggie Stack – Grilled Vegetables, Halloumi, Capers, Chilli Pesto & Swiss Cheese, all in a toasted bloomer – A perfect vegetarian lunch. From the quality of ingredients, to the friendliness of staff, this is all you could ask for either first thing in the morning or midday lunch on a working day…I’ve been back to the deli couple of times since my first visit for breakfast – Latte is quite flavourful. Be mindful that Deli is busy around lunch hours (I guess I know why!) but that wait to get your favourite deli is well worth it.

This has soon becoming my favourite local deli. Just have to drop in for a coffee every time I walked past. The coffee is great and this place has a really cool vibe to it, much better than the high street chain.Had a ham hock baguette for lunch the other day, it was good but massive ( I could only finish half of it!). Definitely good value for money! There can be a bit of a wait sometime during lunch time but the staffs are always very friendly (plus you get complimentary sweet on the house). They also offer a range of snacks/ biscuits for someone with a sweet tooth like mine (my favourite must be the quirky marshmallow chocolate bar, yum!). I had tried the pancake on the breakfast menu once and loved it too! Would definitely be back to sample more from their menu

4 out of 7, 3 to go! Me and a mate have just ordered and devoured 4 of the 7 sandwiches on offer at Lower Eastside Deli. I now have a food baby that any prospective food parent would be proud of! We had the L.E.S. Ruben, Chipotle Pulled Pork, Shredded Chicken and Vegetarian Stack. All sandwiches were deep filled, extremely tasty and very satisfying. Even the veggie option. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll eat the occasional bit of shrubbery like the next bloke but the veggie option was that good that it’s highly likely I’ll eat it again.Prices seem a bit high at first glance but in reality they are in line with other similar establishments in the local area. Also, the pure size and taste of the sandwich make it acceptable.I would highly recommend this to meaties and veggies alike, bring your friends and have some good grub!

I’ve tried this place a few times since it opened last week. The service last week was a bit slow as they seemed to be a bit overrun with customers, but I guess that’s the nature of an opening week, this week has been much better. For lunch I’ve had the Pulled Pork and the Beef Short Ribs which were both epic, always a good sign when you can feel the weight, they were both packed with juicy meat and a nice crunchy apple slaw.I’ve also had the breakfast bagel which was also great, although not sure if I could manage more than one a week! Again just like the lunch, the bagel was heavy with chipped ham hock, fried egg (broken yolk though) and melted cheese.I’m not a coffee drinker, but colleagues say that its very nice.

Very popular although it just opened, the deli has a basic menu of a few breakfast items and some sandwiches. I had the salt beef and the quality of the meat was really good. The place is priced along the same lines as the standard chain coffee shops but tastes much better. They also have a range of jams etc that you can buy, and coffee and read to choose from. There’s not a lot of seating so more the kind of place you get a takeaway from. Ditch the commercialised places and do your coffee run from this delightful place.
