I went with some friends for lunch around 12:30, and we easily found a couple of tables to take up. I ordered the Reuben – a tried and tested favourite of mine. This one was crammed full of pastrami and sauerkraut (great) but as it was toasted it just ended up being a bit too dry, but I can’t fault them on the ingredients, or the size. On the same visit I fancied a waffle, but unfortunately the waffles are only served until 11am. Still, I had high hopes for them, so I headed back one morning. As for my Belgian Waffle, it wasn’t exactly what I had been expecting. It was more like an American waffle than a Belgian one. Even so, the filling was pleasant and I liked the crunchy texture of it.The fresh orange juice here is lovely, and I’ve heard the breakfast bagels/baps are great. If I’m in the area again I’d definitely head back to try them. bloomzy.co.uk
