Merchants Tavern is housed in a Victorian warehouse and former apothecary in Shoreditch, on the edge of the City of London. A collaboration between Neil Borthwick (formerly of Michel Bras and The Square), Angela Hartnett (of Murano) and the founders of the Canteen chain, the bar, dining room and private room opened in October 2013. In our dining room we offer a full A'la Carte menu with dishes inspired and influenced by the ingredients and cooking techniques of France, Italy and Spain. Group and function menus are also available. Our bar is open all day from 9am offering coffee and tea, a bar menu from noon to 11pm, craft beers, draught cider, cocktails and traditional and natural wines.
