Can happily say this place has been the best pizza discovery i have made till date and im sure everyone in hoxton and shoreditch is happy to reside in a close proximity! Their pizzas are delicious thin crispy italian style oven baked to perfection! My usual option is the margharita (2.99) with rocket! Seriously its not even about the price they have other amazing recipes too but this simply does justice for me! Always a warm smile and welcome by staff and management.
This place is freaking amazing. I have been to this place twice now and in love with it…Amazing tea with super amazing pizza at super low cost. Pizzas taste much better than dominos, pizza hut, papa johns
This place is more local caff than Meditteranean caf. Cheap and cheerful is the name of the game here with basic tables and chairs and a few paintings on the wall to avoid it becoming too drab. Theyre known for their value-for-money pizzas, cooked in a dedicated van parked up outside the caf. This is what brought me to the place yesterday. I cant claim that the pizzas here are exactly authentic, but theyre more than a cut above your average pizza takeway joint. These have a thin base, nicely crisped but where they differ from a more Italian pizza is that theyre not shy of loading the thing with toppings, rather than a few artfully arranged additions. I had the Mexicana jalapenos, peppers and chilli flakes, which also, surprisingly, came with a great deal of rocket. It was a tasty pizza, cooked well, if not as spicy as I would have liked. The cheese was nicely stringy and there was plenty of it, a little more tomato on the base wouldnt have gone amiss. My 12-incher (which at first I thought I wouldnt finish how nave of me) was only 5!The caf seems to be quite a friendly place, with clearly quite a few local regulars. One young lad came in to say hello and explained he hadnt been in for a while because hed had a falling out with his friend whod stolen something from him. The guy behind the counter counselled him to forgive and forget but the lad was having none of it. You dont steal PS3 controllers from your mates! It was pretty empty when I went in but a steady trickle of people ordering pizzas to take away arose, and a group of local hipsters came in for a catch up and a pizza each (making me feel a lot better about my greedy guts having a whole one to myself). They also have sandwiches and a surprisingly varied amount of coffees to order. Is this pizza that you would walk through fire to have just one bite? No. Theres nothing artisan about it, no bleating on about locally sourced ingredients. But its tasty and no-nonsense and Id happily pop in here again to satisfy my pizza cravings. jaminaward.wixsite.com
This is a nice place to go to if you love Italian food like me . I absolutely love this pace . The food is brilliant , everything freshly prepared , and perfectly seasoned too . It’ s a visual delight too . The prices are a bit high but totally worth it for the food you get .
If you are looking for a quick on the go sort of a lunch then this place is just appropriate for you. You can get delicious freshly bake pizzas for a meagre amount and you would feel that this is great value for money. If you visit during the peak rush hours then it might be hard for you to find a place for you to sit. You can also enjoy your meal in the sun on a bright sunny day while being seated in the outdoor.
The Siciliana (with tomato, mozarella, anchovies, capers and olives) is the best pizza I have had in London. Very thin crust, and not fatty tasting at all. Some of the other pizzas (such as the salami or the florentine) have been a little bland in comparison. Be warned that the quality ofcharcuterie toppingsis not great here. Their pizza oven is small, so if you order for a table for four, two people will get their pizzas first and 10 minutes later the next two pizzas will arrive. You can’t beat prices here. A whole 12 inch pizza margherita is 2.99.
