The idea is to make your own panini with the various ingredients on offer, but this seems fairly redundant as the menu is so vast anyway it doesn’t matter. The queue is extremely long at lunch times and seems to drag, lacking the efficiency of some of its competitors. Sandwiches are cheap and cheerful, whilst the panini’s are more expensive they’re probably worth the extra cash. Overall, the food is okay but perhaps not worth the frustrating queue.

Paninis is a small take away sandwhich bar not far from shoreditch high street. The serve an array of sandwhiches, soups and baps. The idea is to create your own however they have a few ready made ideas on the board to choose from. Over lunch time the line snakes out the door and moves VERY slowly. Yes there are only two people serving but even once you get to the front you’re waiting for ages. Sandwhiches are really cheap, panini 3.50 and baps only 1.80 and they are huge. I ordered a chicken bap in a whole meal roll it was a great size for the price. However I asked for chicken breast and got that sliced ham-like chicken. Then it just had some lettuce and tomoz to inside. Not bar for the price but a bit underwhelming. I guess that’s what you get for under two pound. All in all the wait is annoying, the food is good not great but it is probably the cheapest lunch in the area !
