I didn’t try and food here, but the drinks were great! I tried a strawberry mojito. Upstairs on the rooftop they have a cocktail bar. The rooftop is really buzzing on a sunny day! Great vibes 🙂
The Queen of Hoxton is one of those places where you never know what to expect on a night out. A hidden gem in the midst of the city between Liverpool Street and Old Street located in a small quiet corner. Ping pong tables set up upon arrival on a bar area, its after climbing 5/6 flights of stairs you find a mysterious hideout. A winter wonderland rooftop bar called Once Upon a WigWam inspired by the Grimm Brothers fairy tales. With the Mindful Origami ticket a drink at the bar is included, handed a shiny reflective gold playing card off to the bar I went. They had a mixture of selections at the bar, and even hot cocktails. To keep myself warm I opted for The Golden Apple, a warm mug of hot gingerbread and apple toddy. thefoodconnoisseur.co.uk
Definitely a hidden gem! You can walk around the corner and not notice what is just under your nose. It is just another bar on the floor level but as soon as you go upstairs you are immediately entering the fairytale spirit! The decor is just amazing cause it feels like you are not in the city center of a big capital anymore. The menu is small but okay. Just perfect for a couple drinks in the end of the day and for catching up!During the winter time, count on real fireplaces to warm you up and to roast some marshmallows too!!
A noisy and hip place. Probably too hip for me though! The food was average but the atmosphere was good. Somewhere to try if you are in the area but not worth a special trip. quieteating.com
One of the best rooftop bar in London, perfect location close to the city and Shoreditch. They always organise something cool: during the winter you can find fire to get warmer and marshmallow to eat, in the summertime there is the classic BBQ.It’s a good place to go after work, with your colleagues or friends, to drink some pints and to enjoy the company in a nice location. In the night Queens of Hoxton becomes one of the most successful club in Shoreditch, with good music and full of people. In any cases it is worth to go and have fun.
ROOFTOP BAR IN LONDON you wouldnt realise it from the outsidebut after climbing 5/6 flights of concrete stairs you come up to the rooftopaka the Wigwam in the winter and are surroundedby London. With woodfires in the winter and bbq’s in the summer it is one of myfavourite venues to visit. The prices are reasonable and the staff are friendlyenough. They also have open air cinema showings in the summer.
A wigwam, cocktails and a sing along karaoke with a gospel choir as your backing singers. Did I just fall through a hole like Alice in Wonderland? Queen of Hoxton takes you to another dimension. The staff are great, the loos are clean and the vibe is East London cool. Go, before the wigwam gets dismantled in less than a month.
