Definitely one of my favourites on Shoreditch High Street. Genuinely one of the best ham & cheese toasties I’ve ever had. Staff is really friendly and personable. Living a street away in Hoxton, Spread Eagle has become quite a regular haunt that I go to with my flatmates. They have really reasonable prices (which is a big plus) and are well located for anyone who stays in the East. The inside has that eclectic Shoreditch vibe of mismatched furniture and old school decor, which is quite charming. I’ve only ever been there during the day time and sat outdoors, but I’ll definitely be giving it a shot on a night out sometime. 🙂
