This is a great place to go , we always bring my dog and have a great time never had the food but the people here are really nice! It’s in a good location since you can see outside so it’s nice on a hot day! The food always smells fantastic and there is a wide range of drinks for adults and kids. They also provide water for our dog – we didn’t even ask!
The Armoury is a commanding building situated on the river Severn. Even though it’s a huge place it was still completely full on a June Tuesday evening. We did manage to get a table as we arrived a little late and a couple of people were just leaving. The menu was really nice and I ordered the vegetarian cottage pie topped with sweet potato and served with buttered vegetables. It was delicious, had so much flavour which really can be lacking in vegetarian meals sometimes. My husband had the bream which he was still talking about the next day, so I think it’s safe to say that was very good too. We didn’t try a dessert on this visit, hopefully next time. Very friendly and efficient staff, really couldn’t fault the place.
