What a superb place this has turned into. The food was amazing, despite the pub being extremely busy. We were greeted by a guy called Tom, his levels of service went above and beyond. Can thoroughly recommend the Bowd to anyone.
Despite being on the main road it is easy to miss and that would be a shame. Friendly and very helpful staff, a welcoming log fire, and a good carvery washed down with Otter ales, what is there not to like ?.
Terrible and really unwelcoming. Told couldn’t sit at the bar and no tables after taking drinks and food order. Would only go back if man in charge on New Years Day 2020 is changed.
