A family owned & run hotel renowned locally for over 25 years for quality service & fabulous food sourced locally (wherever possible) for both quality & freshness. Camra Real ales & an excellently stocked wine cellar complement our Brasserie and Bar Menu or Sandwich Menu. Our menus are an eclectic mix of modern English, classic French and a pinch of Spanish We offer afternoon cream tea in our beautiful Victorian Conservatory. Three functions rooms are available for weddings, parties, private dining or meetings. We are also licensed for civil ceremonies. 13 en-suite individually appointed bedrooms with original features are available for those wishing to stay longer and to enjoy our award winning breakfast.Details

A very lovely stay. Much like the last time a month ago. Staff are really kind, food is lovely and plentiful and rooms are clean, comfortable and have all the basic essentials. Excellent.
My sort of well run, traditional hotel style place. Food great with a few surprise items on the menu. Portuguese/Spanish, Italian influence. SERVICE ok. Decor and style a bit dated, fantastic log burner in the winter and brilliant outside seating for the summer.
Had a Special Birthday lunch at the Carre Arms. Excellent service and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend this venue.
