McDonalds may not exactly be coffee connoisseurs, but for any coffee lover, the sound of a toffee latte is hard to resist. Left for quite a while before drinking, in spite of all the froth disappearing (the fault of the drinker, not the maker) the taste was delicious, with a respectable coffee strength and flavour finished fancifully by the toffee flavouring. Unfortunately, the drink was very sweet at the bottom, the only negative holding this ‘wonder brew’ back from a top honours rating. Served very efficiently and politely by the excellent Victoria Road, Fenton crew in Stoke, I will look forward to another one – just be sure to ‘give it a stir’ at the bottom. Good going, Ronald…
