Don’t like to leave a negative review – in fact it is the first time I ever have.Was really excited to have a Italian pizzeria around the corner. Having lived in Italy; pizzas from Bella Naples were the most authentic to the ones I ate in Italy. Have eaten twice at Bella Naples and the first time was great.However todays experience was far from that. Arrived at 5.30 just after Bella Naples opened. Order was taken. Mains took just under 1 hour & 20 minutes to be served. Two other people came in approx.. 20 minutes after us and they were served, ate their meal; paid the bill and had left before we were served. When I asked why it was so delayed I was told that it had been really busy. Our table of four + a table of two and two take away orders with three staff working?On top of the slow service orders received were incorrect. Starter was Antipasto allItaliana (quoting from menu: Mix Sliced Italian Meat, Mozzarella, Bruschetta, Vegetables Selection). Arrived but no Bruschetta.My wife ordered Broccoli e Salsiccia Pizza (quoting from menu: Mozzarella, Broccoli, Salsiccia). Arrived with spinach. How can a pizza with broccoli in the name come with spinach on it?Such a shame had hoped this would be a regular place to eat out! Oh well.

Great Night. It was our anniversary and seeing as we have a new baby at home, we didnt really want to go far from home. I came across reviews of Bella Naples on this site and i thougt it might be worth a go. I am so glad we did. From the front it doesnt look like much but when we went in, the owner and chef was very attentive and even sat with us at the end of the meal for a quick chat. We had the shared platter to start and it was fantastic. The bread was lovely and the balance of flavours was very delicate. I had the bell naples pizza for a main…it was one of the best pizza’s i have had, but be warned you do need to be hungry to tackle this on your own. My wife had the seafood spaghetti and she loved it. The tiramasu was beautiful and the lemon sorbet was also very good.I would have no issue with going back there again and again, so when we next get a babysitter then thats where we will head.
