After hearing so much about their bao buns, I had a chance to go here on friday night. There was a 10 minute queue outside before we were shown to our communal table. The buns are expensive 5 and you would need around 4-5 to fill your stomach. Ordered all the veggie options in the menu. Buns are really good but the filling is not and small portion size does not help either. Best bun was their desert with icecream in it. Would not come again.

The baos we had was the classic pork and the fried chicken bao. Very good. We also had the fried chicken xiao chi. Everything was very good, greate tastes. Highly recomended if you like bao

A little pricey for the portion size but still worth the hype its been getting. Grab a friend and order every bun on the menu so you can try a little of everything is probably my best advice. Id also recommend this for lunch rather than dinner since the restaurant is quite small and the amount of food you get isnt huge. Drinks wise the yakult float is deliciously refreshing. Tried their several dishes also. Its on slightly expensive side.

We waited for almost half an hour on a Saturday evening to enter the place. Its a small eatery with quick service and an interesting menu. We ordered (pics attached) Bao Daikon – boring and tasteless. Bao fried chicken – interesting presentation, layered and my friend also enjoyed the flavours. A first time bao eater, he would recommend it. [plus 1] Sweet potato fries with plum sauce – yummy! [plus 1] Mapo Auvergne rice – not extraordinary. Its like a bowl of plain rice with brinjal curry and pieces of fried brinjal. Salty. Loved the piece of chilled pickled cucumber served with the warm dish. ( plus 1/2) We enjoyed our food with the Shoreditch Blonde beer which we choose from the numerous options of alcoholic beverages . They add a 12.5 % service charge in the total bill. I wouldnt recommend it to vegetarians.
