Dinner at Gamma Gamma was terrific. It’s pan asian tapas. We had zebra tataki, a sea bream scotch egg, chicken satay, filipino kangaroo steak, tuna sashimi, watermelon and samphire som tam. The only dish I wouldn’t order again was the som tam. Chilli overpowered the samphire which had also been blanched to reduce it’s presence. I would have preferred the pronounced saltiness and marshiness of raw samphire. One of the best meals we had this year. It was expensive though. Six tapas sized dishes with a bottle of house wine and service came to 100. Portions were dainty but food was exquisite. If you book, request a table in the front room. The room in the back is unpleasantly dark. It’s so dark you can’t read the menu unless you use a flashlight app on your phone.
