Was craving for a cheese sandwich so bumped into that place while walking through the town. I opted for the safe option (the classic). The bread was fresh however the mix of cheeses and the butter made it a bit on the heavy side. I know I should expect this from a sharp cheddar but this one was too much. I would add more mozzarella into the mix! Otherwise, they have a wide options of toppings to the cheese, probably if you add some toppings, it will be less ‘cheesy’? Service and staff were great!

Supremely rude staff, but independent of that, the sandwiches were really disappointing. I tried the mac and cheese toastie. The bread was dry and chewy and the macaroni was more gimmicky than imparting flavour in any significant way. I had a bite of the classic toastie and that one was marginally better, but still not great. It’s hard to disappoint with cheese and bread but somehow they manage to.

Ordered from UberEat and asked for no cheese because I can’t eat cheese. The restaurant, instead of notifying me that this is not possible delivered my food with cheese. I waited for 30 minutes and got food that I had to throw. Thank god that I had a promo code because if not I would have wasted 10 on food I wouldn’t have eaten. Never ordering from Melt Room again.

I ordered take away via Deliveroo and think I will also start to add new take away restaurants here as well as the fine dining establishments. Ordered: The classic cheese meltPlain friesColeslaw Vine tomatoe soup I did not manage to try the soup as I was full up. As this is a take away I cannot comment on presentation on a plate or the resturant itself just the food. The food was plain but filling. Nothing special but not too bad for lunch either. Really not much to say at totally average. At least they use more than one variety of cheese on the classic. The soup may have been something but I will have to review that in. the future. photos taken at my office desk so not presented as you would expect from the resturant. Did not come with any cutlery so if you order to your office bear that in mind. m3jal.com

The salt beef sandwich was absolute perfection. Seriously, probably the best sandwich I’ve consumed in a long time. And at least in my all time top five. I also had a bit of the Nutella one, also brilliant. Definitely heading back to Melt Room when I’m in the area! mini-adventures.com

It’s really hard to find proper toasted sanwiches in london but this little place offers some delicious sanwiches. You should definitely try this place , it’s a really good lunch option.Recommendation- bbq chicken or the Mac and cheese sandwich with truffle fries

After reading real good reviews, I had been waiting to check this place out for quite sometime now and finally today I did! I mean c’mon now, the only grilled cheese sandwich shop in London! Who wouldn’t wanna go? Food: grilled cheese it is. A tiny cute place with a very appealing menu. We ordered Mac ‘n’cheese, BBQ Chicken and Portobello Mushroom. For the price of around 5 each it wasn’t bad at all! Though we were expecting something more fancy but it’s cheap and it’s cheese AND we were completely stuffed with just one. My friend who got the one with chicken didn’t find it that great to be honest. Maybe because of all the raised expectations and imagination. Service: the staff was really polite and nice. Full points to them!Ambience: the bright yellow and white tiny shop definitely gives a very nice vibe.Definitely worth a try!
