We phoned and booked a table a month in advance. On arrival it apparently wasn’t in the book but was pretty empty. It was only when we sat down that we discovered that there was only sandwiches available (egg or cucumber!).A quick search online revealed that there was no kitchen since the 14th September due to renovation. Needless to say we weren’t impressed and left.They should have advised this when booking or when they closed the kitchen phoned us. I was on crutches and made the pointless journey upstairs; hey could have told us then and saved me that struggle. Again they didn’t bother to tell us when they seated us either.This is truly terrible customer service. It’s fair to say that following this I won’t be in a hurry to return even after the kitchen reopens.If we’d been told ether at booking or at some point before the day then things would be different. I wasted money on a cab there after work and then we had to pay for another to an alternative place and then on to the theatre. Again much could have been avoided if this place had been honest with us.I’m very sorry to be writing a negative review.
