Don’t let the name put you off…. Just happened to be walking past this little restaurant, trying to find a place to eat after work. Noticed it was full of people and had a real buzz so we thought we’d give it a go.It was actually pretty good.Nice wines by the glass, I had the lamb fillet and it was beautifully cooked, simple and delicious. Didn’t have dessert but they also looked tasty at other tables. Would certainly go again – unpretentious little local restaurant with a great energy.
As a weary business traveller, there could not be a better place in London. The wine list is superb, food delectable, and the owners and diners/winers the friendliest in London. Call ahead, b/c getting a table is not a sure thing.
