Andy’s Tavern looks like most of Greek places you can find around the world: blue and white decorations, artificial vines hanging from the ceilings, photos of Mediterranean islands on the walls. The menu is not too long and offers a selection of classic Greek dishes. A friend I had lunch with recommended their moussaka. And it turned out to be a very good choice! A large slice of tasty mix of meat and vegetables under a thick layer of bechamel sauce what else would you like for a filling meal? Also, their was is very helpful and kind. A shot of some Greek spirit they give on house after the meal was also nice!
The warmest service I’ve experienced in a long time, and a great, cosy atmosphere. Authentic, fantastic food, the kleftiko falls off the bone. Food and drinks are really affordable too. A gem!
Great place for birthday celebrations! Excellent food, amazing staff! We were 40 and everyone loved the dinner, the space and the people!
Loved this restaurant. We were greeted and treated here, the service was excellent and the food was really pleasing. Have visited Greece and the islands many times and this was a pleasant way to remember all those trips. The restaurant is small but that makes it more cosy and somehow more sociable. We loved it and will go out of our way to eat there next time we are down in London.
Great food, super friendly service. Book ahead abecause although hidden away, it gets busy (best Greek foodin the UK- is it any wonder?) Knowledgable about every dish, able to answer any questions aboutdietary requirements. New favorite place- can’t wait to return.
I ordered the marinated pork with roasted potatoes and it was absolutely divine! So tender and truly generous portions I had to takeaway! I loved their service on top of it all which created such a pleasant dining experience for a single diner like me!Definitely going to go back with my family in the near future!PS. Book in advance to avoid disappointment as they are fully booked almost everyday and its a small place.
