If you are a tourist or you look like a tourist, please, DO NOT go there. My family came to visit me last week and the last day we went there to have an English breakfast. We were having the hand luggage with us because my family was leaving later. They asked us what we wanted for breakfast, but they did not tell us the price in any moment. We ordered 3 English breakfast and a lady asked us what kind of bread we wanted. Normally coffee and bread are included in the price, but not in this cafe and the lady did not tell us about it. When I went to pay, she told me it was 42 pounds. I was surprised and I asked her about my receipt and she refused to give it to me by saying she deleted it. I told her it was not my problem because I did not say to her to do it so she invented another new receipt for me, when I asked her about the price of the breakfast she refused to tell me and she looked for excuses. I told her I was not a tourist and I could call the police if I wanted (I did not) and she looked scared so I guess it is not the first time they do something like that to the people. They are a confidence tricksters…
Very bad experience. I ordered fish and chips with salad at 4.95 and a skinny latte at 1.90 as per menu. On the menu it stated that dining in had to pay an extra 50p on food and drinks. When I was going to pay at the counter after finishing, I was told a total of 10.40. I was so confused and shocked that it was not supposed to be so expensive and the lady told me it was because of dinning in. I had no choice but to just say nothing and leave. I felt cheated and angry..never ever want to go here anymore. On the next 2 doors there is also a cafe selling fish and chips and the difference is only 50p for take away and dinning in.
