The worst experience I ever had. Please avoid at any cost. We had booked a table for 6 and went there on time. 630 isnt a closing time but we were told to give complete order including main dishes as the kitchen was closing and it was rush hour for them. Only one table was occupied besides ours and they were calling it rush hours. Ordered couple of dishes from appetizers and placed the order for main dishes as well (as requested). Was surprised to see the quantity that they served. It wasnt enough even for one person and for that, they were charging around 15 GBP. Butter chicken and prawn masala were super sweet (not just sweet but super sweet, was like they poured sugar syrup in it) when we clearly requested for mild dishes. We then ordered two another dishes but they were nothing but boiled chicken added to tomato puree separately. Surprising that these guys charge even for papadam and chutney. Papadam is ok as they asked if we want papadams, but we never asked for chutney but they served it and added the cost in the bill. They also told me that service charges are optional before placing the order but in the bill, they had around 20GBP as service charge. It was a birthday party and had invited couple of my friends but spoiled it completely. On top of that, ended up paying more than 100 GBPs for all the food which was not only pathetic in taste but for the service which was awful. And trust me, the food we consumed wasnt even worth 20 pounds. I been to many indian restuarants before but never tasted such a worst food. Go to any other restuarant but not this if you want to have some good experience. This restaurant will make sure you loose your money and have bad experience with the food.
With Massala Hut I came to know about Indian rich and beautiful dishes. Soft bollywood music playing in the background and you can relish their great dishes served with great garnishing. I would also like to say about the atmosphere which very nice and warms your heart.
Massala Hut made me taste the best Indian foods that I ever had in my life. So spicy, so tasty I cannot stop myself thinking about their dishes. Actually after my first visit, I went there twice in the same week with my friends. We had a nice time and were able to celebrate our weekend relishing nice foods.
After getting the first salary of my job, I took my family to dinner at this place. We were very happy by the Indian foods specially the curries that my mother liked mostly. At an affordable price rate, I was very happy that I was able to celebrate with my family. Thanks to these guys for providing such delicious foods.
A few months back I availed a 50% off offer from Massala Hut. But it was not the offer that caught my attraction but the great food and its sublime taste. If you want to taste authentic Indian foods in London, try Massala Hut.
There’s a few Indian restaurants in Drummond St, Euston. Most of them are pure vegetarian, but i decided to go here for 2 reasons, Roti King, was closed on sunday and there was not much other choice and also I got 50% off with my tastecard.I ordered lamb chops for starters and Karahi Ghost for main. My friend got grilled fish and a Chicken JalfreziPeople, don’t trouble yourself and go here. Unless you are dragged here for a work lunch or some other reason. It was below average. Maybe the fact It was a late Sunday night. The food mediocre, the lamb was totally tasteless and the Jalfrezi was overpowered with nagga chillies and made the dish almost untouchable. The starters were okay. My chops were very thin and small. The saving grace was that 2 drinks, 2 nans, starters and Mains cost 19.98 Inc service because of a 50% discount. So i can’t complainFood – 2.5Value – 3.5 (should be higher if food was better)Service – 2.5 nothing bad or good. Food came quicklyAtmosphere – 2.5 halalfoodguy.co.uk
