Been here a few times, midweek lunch and evening. Always a great atmosphere, and friendly service. Food is tasty, and quick to arrive. Great ale and wine options too. Rarely say this but the background music selection is excellent.
An awesome pub with super friendly staff who make a great gin and tonic. I’ll definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking for a proper London pub with a fun atmosphere.
I love a little tipple in the city and when I found this little gem there was no other location I wanted to be. With great beverage options, lovely food and the decor of the classic British pub (which is rare in London now) one was damn right disappointed when it had to close for the evening! Even when the establishment was packed to the rafters, it was still easy to get a drink at the bar (also rare in London) from the lovely staff! I shall head there to enjoy the tip top food and rum again very soon!
I chose the Pork Sunday Roast and was delicious! Everything was good, service, place, food! The only reason I didn’t gave a 5 was because of the quantity… Two thin slices of meat…
A darkened pub with modern but not particularly charming decor, The Prince of Wales Feathers comes into its own when the rugby’s on TV: this pub will always turn on a wide screen at the back and allow sports fans to settle down with a fine choice of ales and some good pub food. I’d particularly recommend it during Six Nations, when there’s usually a special offer such as full English breakfast (complete with black pudding and bubble n’ squeak, one of the best I’ve sampled) and a pint of Doom Bar for 10 – a bargain for a gastropub in central London. On other occasions, it’s not somewhere I’d go out of my way to frequent.
