This is a lovely little pub to visit both during the day and in the evening. The venue itself is beautiful and the food is great. Especially when the weather gets better you must take advantage of the beer garden and enjoy your meal out in the sun. I would particularly recommend the pork and chorizo burger and you can complete your meal with a glass of Pimms. At night they have some beautiful lights in the garden and it can be a great starting place to your Camden night out. That’s what spring is for after all. darcrose22albionadventures.blogspot.com

I’ve been working in Camden for 15 years, and the lure of the pub’s generous beer garden has been my downfall too many times. Today was the last time. It is under-staffed, always. Always, always. In mid Summer, when they advertise the barbecue in the garden, it means you will have to queue to order a burger, then queue to take your ticket to the man making your burger, and wait approx 45 minutes for your burnt, overpriced burger to land on the table in front of you.You could actually nip out, go to Byron’s up the road, and get back again in the time it takes to get served there.Well today, silly old me went to The Edinboro for lunch and ordered the delicious-sounding pumpkin and tomato salad for 6. I got a small garnish on a side plate. Also, it always smells a bit of stale pee near the bar.You can shove it Edinboro. You aren’t worth it.
