The restaurant is inside the Melia White House Hotel, they have a nice breakfast (hard to beat that price in London), mediterranean style buffet during lunch and dinner, with very nice desserts. The food is freshly cooked and althuogh it is not a fancy restaurant, the service is great. Some members of the staff are outstanding and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere, namely Camillo, Inna and Ricardo, who are always pleasant and attentive like I’ve seen in few places before.excellent customer service!
Im here on a business trip and had my first night’dinner at the restaurant. The buffet was priced at 25 with a really poor selection of courses. Food was pretty taste less and definitely not worth the price. Going to avoid eating here as much as I can. There’s a Tesco and Pret a maniere right opposite the hotel.
I have eaten here a number of times when staying on business. Sadly not any more because the hotel isn’t on our company preferred list. There are 2 restaurants here this is the less formal one at the front of the hotel. Meals are always first rate and well cooked. Service is first class and very friendly. When I stayed regularly the MaitreD would welcome me by name which was a lovely touch. You can take a leisurely approach or if you are in more of a hurry you can be in and out very quickly. Sometimes they have buffet nights on and there is always an excellent selection including a chef section for show cooking one of the dishes. The breakfast here is to die for. The scrambled eggs in particular are wonderful and the whole Spanish style selection of meat and cheese is enough to make you want to spend all morning there. If you are a MAS card holder you get points on everything you spend as well. The only disappointment is that I’m not likely to be going back now that this hotel isn’t available to me through work. If I get chance to visit personally though I still will.
