A friend told me about 805 restaurant just because I always advocate for good and delicious food. Since, I am a damn lover of tasty and spicy food, I decided to give it a trial. I was impressed with the atmosphere, decor and the ever ready to serve waiters. I started with the 8 beermate spiced beef with a bottle of Smirnoff ice while waiting for the main course, white rice with fried fish and Moyin Moyin (Beans Pudding). Overall, I was impressed with both the starter and the main course, very delicious. I concur that this is one of the best African restaurant in London. The experience was great, I will definitely come again to have amala with ewedu and assorted meat.
As a Nigerian this gets full points due to the nature of the food which I rank as one of the best in the world. I have been to the restaurant on 3 different occassions each time bringing friends as a bit of a culture shock exercise and to awaken their tastebuds and I must say that each tine I have not been disappointed. In fact, the service quality seems to have improved with each visit and now you can be sure the place will be bustling on weekends for family brunches as well as during the weekdays as well.I would recommend for any looking to taste sine Nigerian or African cuisine and a must try is the suya…one of the few places in London that do it properly!
