I’ve come to this restaurant a few times and as a sichuan restaurant goes its pretty average. The restaurant is set near Finchley and Frognal station, just up the road from the O2 centre. The menu is a standard Sichuan restaurant nothing special. There are two options, either a la carte and secondly a hot pot option which one can only have in the restaurant, for obvious reasons. The ma po tofu, which is a Sichuan favourite of mine, was average. I liked the silky tofu but the spiciness wasn’t there, it was much more numbing then actual spice. It should be an amalgamation of both, rather than only Sichuan chill peppers.I also ordered the chili fried chicken which wasn’t crispy enough but the taste was really good.Overall, its a clean restaurant with average food. Fixes the Sichuan food crave.

This restaurant has the most talented Chef, and they prepare their own fresh noodles for serving. I especially love their hot pots, and my most preferred dish is the pork shechuan. They also serve an amazing soup of spicy noodles, and it tastes best when made with the home-made noodles. I love coming here, and recommend it to everybody.

I visited this restaurant and the decision was indeed a good bet. The staff was very polite and obliged with all my needs. The food was quite fresh and delicious at the same time. I had a dumpling soup and a few drinks. I also ordered prawn. The entire meal was wholesome and the beer was amazing. The menu was also quite an extensive one. I had a very nice experience after visiting this restaurant.

I came to this place with a group of friends, and ordered many different dishes including mapo tofu, mushrooms, chicken dumplings et cetera. I though the tofu was too silky and came with too much pepper corn. It was not even spicy in the right manner. The tripes were amazing and very tasty. The kung pao chicken was also really nice, it had just the right amount of sugar and tasted brilliant. I was not very impressed with the dumplings, because the filling was very average. But the dinner was an enjoyable meal. It was very large and inexpensive. The service was helpful and nice. So, it was a good dinner in the end.

This is one of the only two Szechuan options in the neighbourhood, and after the closure of their competitor, I decided to come here. I was not disappointed by the experience. I loved the food, and especially liked the poached beef in chili oil and the Gung Po chicken. The prices are very reasonable. This is the place to go to if you are looking for affordable and authentic Szechuan cuisines.

This is a nice little Chinese place with great service , they were pretty quick so you won’t be waiting for hours to have your meal. I wanted to have Crispy beef dish but it was out of stock and my waiter recommended me to have Spicy Chicken dish. I liked it , it was something different and was perfectly made too. If you like having Chinese dishes then you must give this place a chance to serve you.

The interiors are quite boring but the lunch was priced very well – the portions were super generous and I had a great experience. What value for food! Can’t say more about this place though. If you want a cheap but delicious place to eat at, this is the one to go to.
