A beautiful Italian restaurant.Everything is so delicious and well served. I end up ordering practically half the menu when Im there because i simply cant choose. The place has history. Its full of pictures on the wall of all the celebrities that have been there and loved the place just like i do.Definatly recommend.
This place is one of my favorite Italian restaurants. Whenever I’m in London I have to eat there. The food is great. Great price to quality. And the staff is friendly.
Found this place close to our hotel. My daughter wanted pasta so we thought we would try it. So glad we did. The food was amazing the service attentive and the staff friendly. Try the gnocchi it’s the best I’ve ever had.
Neighborhood pizzeria and pasta joint. Decent service and food. But in London one is spoilt for choices and I feel there are many other places for better pasta and pizza.
Nice italian restaurants, i loved the celebrities photos on the wall, it felt like a true italian restaurant, everything was cozy and a very friendly staff. The food was hot and on time. The taste was quite ok for my taste although the pizza was not up to my expectations, the dough was not crispy though i asked for rxtra crispy
Friendly Neighbourhood Pizzeria. Three words that can easily sum up this restaurant. Though it is more than just that. One of the few London restaurants one can easily drive to anytime as there is ample parking if you are a RBKC resident. And if you’re not then there’s ample Single yellows outside for parking if you go for dinner. There is an old claim that this was one of Princess Diana’s favourite haunts. And indeed a sign outside proclaims this very point. The place is a two floor affair. The top(ground floor) is small and fills up fast so downstairs (basement) is where I’ve sat every time. The service is friendly and fast. But not the most attentive. Since it’s not fine dining they can get away with it. But a little more attentiveness wouldn’t go amiss. The food is if course the highlight. This is a pizzeria serving food mainly from Naples. This means the menu whilst not small is limited in range. Starters, Pizzas, Pastas and a couple of fish dishes make up most if not all of the menu. Culinary specialities from other regions are also conspicuous by their absence. No Bolognese or Pesto in sight. The only disappointment is because the rest of their food is so good, one wonders how good these ghost dishes can be. Onto the food they actually serve. They have an excellent garlic bread. It is very garlicky though so for those who don’t like garlic might be worth ordering something else. Pizzas are great. Well sized for one person and cooked to perfection. They have a decent variety of pizzas. They have plenty of Vegetarian options and offer gluten free and Halal options as well. I had an American hot with slight modifications. And it was great. Just the right amount of heat and crispy with a slight doughy tang that it should have. The others had a prosciutto de Parma. (Apparently specially flown in for Da Mario.) It was certainly worthy of the menu. Buffalo Mozzarella Fantasia was great. Very fresh cheese shows the terai rant cares about it’s ingredients. We had a couple of desserts. The Tiramisu here is very good. They manage to get the texture right which is quite hard it seems as not many place get that right. It’s always great. Though the last time the lady’s fingers needed a bit more soaking as the coffee twang was slightly short. They also have great ice cream. I know its probably not in house so they may not get credit for making it. But I feel it was great so warranted a mention. Taste was spot on and the texture which again is very hard to get was excellent. It obviously wasn’t just a random ice cream brand which again shows the restaurant cares about the ingredients and products they buy. I would definitely recommend!
