absolute dump. Doorman squared up to me as I reentered and started saying my trousers weren’t smart enough for the bar. Even though we had already been inside and had a drink. He said go to the pub opposite. Funny there were people inside wearing Christmas hats and jumpers and apparently this was ok with their strict weekend policy! He also was wearing dirty black jeans too tight for his large stomach. Friday night and the bar was half full. We stayed for one drink. Won’t ever be coming back.

A great bar to visit, maybe notice celeb or 2, but its not very big and gets crowded very fast. Enjoying an expensive cocktail is never fun standing up and constantly moving to let people through.
Eclipse bar is one of the most popular, posh bars in the area South Kensington located in Old Brompton Road.Coctails in this bar are very nice, but the venue is very small.The service that I receive was superb, very professional and also very friendly.I can personally recommend to order coctails: Lichu, the Secret Garden( lemon juice and homemade honey syrup, Moet and Chandon Champagen), Strawberry and Tamarillo Bellini)Definetely a place with character and place to visit!
