The Milestone is a charming spot for pot of Earl Grey and yummy little cakes in the afternoon. There is a roaring fire which is lovely on a cold day. This place looks like it hasn’t changed a bit in decades and whilst some of the decor is bordering on drab, I found it refreshingly unpretentious. I haven’t yet eaten in the restaurant but I did peek into the dining room and it seemed quite sweet. I’ll be back to try it out.
