Traditional market place pub serving quality home cooked food, casual dining from doorstep sandwiches to steaks, sea bass, venison sausages & mash, beer battered cod & chips, chefs specials and Sunday Roasts. Food is served daily from 11.30 Am until 9pm and 5.30pm on Sundays. Well kept Cask ales, quality wines, soft drinks and coffees served all day. There is a garden, carpark and friendly staff. Children and large groups are welcome. The Argyll is a popular destination for Henley Midsomer Murders tours. Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.
