Went here on the recommendation of a friend and very happy we did! Sat in the bar above the restaurant for drinks beforehand and went to our table 15mins after our reservation time with no issue, having been looked after so well by the kiwi waitress (who’s husband is head chef). We had starters which were excellent but we’d eaten them before I remembered to take any pics! Pics are of the mains, which were again excellent and we finished with banana profiteroles with pistachio ice cream and the cheese plate, both again excellent. So, food great, wine great, room great, service great. Very happy and will definitely be going again. Tony Tobin came to say hi and even took our order!!
