Fantastic food and service. This was my second visit to The Oriental Pan Asian – yet again the food was fantastic, the service was friendly and I would definitely recommend it.The menu was extensive and all of the dishes were of a high quality. We had a range of starters and mains, including soft shell crab, chicken dumplings and sizzling beef fillet with merlot, and all were excellently cooked.A very enjoyable evening.27 Mar, 2013Amazing food and ambience. My first visit to The Oriental Pan Asian was fantastic and I would highly recommend it. Stylish contemporary decor, friendly staff and good service complemented the reasonably-priced and extensive menu.Our group of 3 had a range of dishes including crispy aromatic duck, dover sole fillet and sizzling cantonese beef, and all were were well-presented and excellently cooked. I will definitely be returning soon!

Bad experience. I live local (few blocks away) and have been a regular customer. It turned out be a very bad experience toady after we (3 of us ) ordered few starters and the mains. I my self ordered a beef Thai red curry, which is very standard dish and turned out be a watery tasting curry and the worst part was when I raised my concern with the waitress she was so adamant telling me that nothing has changed in the recipe and that’s how it should taste (this is without tasting dish). Then I decided to raise my issue with the manager who was nice enough to spend some time listing to my conserns with food + the attitude of the waitress. Which she promised me to address both.
Scrumptious!. We came to The Oriental for lunch a few weeks ago and what a treat that was!The decor is beautiful: akin to a 5 star hotel restaurant. And I loved the terracotta warrior in the corner!We were shown to our table by friendly and professional staff, who made some excellent recommendations for our food order. Things to look out for are the Crispy Mongolian Lamb wrapped in lettuce leaves and The Oriental Chicken Curry which is made with coconut milk and the nicest thing I’ve ever eaten – ever! Also not to miss, the Bailey’s ice cream – and for the kids (OK, and me, too!) the bubble gum ice cream. Divine!All-in-all we had an excellent lunch and just didn’t want it to end. It was worth every penny and more. For that reason we will be going back again and again!
Too Expensive and not great good. I live locally fro this restaurant (5mins walk) and been twice (Jan/Feb 2014).The first experience was not good because of the following namely:1. Took ages to get food served and I’m talking a good 40mins to main and 1 hour to mains.2. The bill was hefty for what we gotWe decided after paying that we would not return!!After a month, we visited China town in London and had a feast for the same amount we paid at this restaurant.We now decided a few days afterwards to try this restaurant again and it was again regrettable. it was not a good experience.Ordered take away this time and after picking u, p the quantity did not match the price paid for item.I eat out a lot and order take away not just from Essex and also from Kensington and Queensway in London and this was a far cry from what I would normally get.Verdict: not just my decision but my wife also agrees we would not return. Your choice
Can’t stop eating at this restaurant went with my wife on Valentines for lunch and we loved it so much we must ordered a take away at least 4 times it’s not helping me to lose weight lol
